Exposed Magazine gave us a mention

Sheffield's Exposed Magazine posted on Instagram this week about The Orange Birds new range of products and the launch of their club.

Tucked into the post was this this wonderful factual sentence:

"The tech behind the Club was built by local provider Flub. Contact them at useflub.com."

Simple things, but we're excited.

Exposed were at The Orange Bird's table hearing about the club and retail launch launch. It's come about really nicely, we've been useful to the people the local press already covers.

What they were talking about

The Orange Bird Club launched alongside the new products, as a way for regulars to back the place and get closer to what it's doing next. Membership is £90 a year and includes:

  • Priority booking

  • First dibs on cancellations

  • Early access to events and new products

  • A monthly premium wine selection at half price

  • A few quarterly treats

It's a good example of what we mean when we say "club, not loyalty": there's no points, no discount code. It's access and affinity.

Why it matters to us

Our plan has always been to build something that solves a need. A local magazine name checking us off the back of a customer's own news is perhaps a sign we're heading in the right direction.

If you've landed here from that Instagram post: welcome. Flub is a club builder for independent hospitality; perks, memberships and VIP lists that live in a guest's phone wallet, no app required, set up in an evening. If you want to see what a club could look like for your place, we'd love to chat.
